This is a portrait of our dear pet Salty who passed on about 6 years ago. He was a golden retriever mix that we rescued from the pound when he was 2 years old. We absolutely loved this dog. He made a wonderful family pet for our 3 boys as they grew from elementary school through high school. We will never forget this special dog.
What a charmer! I love the blue shadows and the expression is heartfelt. Beautifully done.
