It has been so long since I have blogged that I had a little trouble remembering how. That is not a good sign. I have had a lot of distractions but art and painting is always for most on my mind even if I don't have time to put pen to paper. I do have a few new paintings to start sharing. This painting of a bouquet of sunflowers and mountain ash was painted in September. I saw the sunflowers in the grocery store and the mountain ash I cut from a tree right outside me house. The leaves on the tree soon turned completely yellow and now they have mostly blow off with the fall breezes. I loved painting this fresh bouquet.
Hi-ya. Very nice name you've got there... and it's MY name, too. :) When I saw your blog listed on google, I couldn't resist stopping by to say howdy. I've known about you for some time (Last time I checked, there were 13 Susan Swiderskis in the U.S.... and here, I thought I was unique!) Your paintings are lovely. I've done some oil paintings, too, but my talent is way below your level. (Might even be a bit of a stretch to even call it talent!)
