Here are three white roses that I was able to pick form outside rose bushes.  I really loved how the sunlight was coming through the peddles of the roses.

Here is painting #2 for the Valentine's Day Give Away.   I actually clipped these flowers myself from a rose garden while I was out of state on a trip.  What a treat to have them in my room and be able to paint them while traveling.  The panel they are painted on is called gessobord by Ampersand.  These boards have a smooth surface with just a slight texture.  I am using these for all my small paintings right now because I really like them.  I brought a selection of them back in my suitcase.
