Chiswell Islands

6"x 6" oil on primed Arches paper (museum quality) $175.      These remote, rugged islands are part of the Chiswell Islands where a variety of seabirds come to nest each summer. Tufted puffins and horned puffins nest here by the thousands.  Many tour boats visit these islands on their daily tours of the Kenai Fjords National Park.  I painted this in mid December 2012.
