8"x 10" Oil on panel. One day in October I headed out to look for a location to paint in plein air since the weather was mild and the late afternoon sky was casting a lovely warm light on everything. I noticed the Tustumena was at the cruise ship dock in Seward. I set up and had a great time working on this painting.
This is powerful in both shapes and the great harmony of colors used. Really bold, just like the subject.
