Here is painting #2 for the Valentine's Day Give Away. I actually clipped these flowers myself from a rose garden while I was out of state on a trip. What a treat to have them in my room and be able to paint them while traveling. The panel they are painted on is called gessobord by Ampersand. These boards have a smooth surface with just a slight texture. I am using these for all my small paintings right now because I really like them. I brought a selection of them back in my suitcase.

ReplyDeleteAll your roses are wonderful Susan and for me, this one particularly. The edges are soft but they hold the shape of the flower perfectly. Just beautiful!!
